Large scale art installations for the Indian Space Research Organisation’s New Delhi Headquarters.

Turmeric Design was invited by ISRO in 2018, to design and install art installations at their Delhi Headquarters. After a detailed study of ISRO’s legacy, initiatives and vision, three points of visual engagement were identified in the building— a sculptural mural on the facade that represents scientific discoveries in ancient India, a large working sundial handcrafted by master craftsmen in Delhi’s local sandstone, and a 6-storey tall atrium interactive experience that evokes the child-like magic of making the stars accessible to future generations.
